The Campuhan ridge walk is an easy hike, that almost anyone can do. This ridge runs between two rivers as the name Campuhan is a word in Balinese that means confluence of two rivers. In front of the hotel sign, go to the left downhill. Trail head is near the bridge that connected to Pura Gunung Lebah temple. There are a number of steps but its not too strenuous, and the vast majority is a gently winding path so you don’t need hiking boots, sneakers will just fine. Bring a hat as there’s not much shade, and the sun can be so hot in the middle of the day. It's a popular place for refreshing spot among the local, during the weekends it could be busy with local teenagers. The track will leads you to Bangkiang Sidem village, Bangkiang Sidem could be mean " waist of a small black ant" in Balinese, waist of an ant is narrow, it reflecting what the ridge walk is like. If you find its too hot and need to stop for some refreshment local art shops or cafes in the village might be one of the option. Best done before the sun gets very high in the sky, don’t forget to bring a bottle of water though.
